Liz qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 2005, and having gained experienced in the nursing role then moved into Management in 2008. She has an extensive and broad knowledge of many areas of the Care sector gained in her various Management roles, including Residential Care, Supported Living, Day Services, and Outreach.
She is a highly motivated and experienced manager, who works hard at bringing her clinical skills together with her management skills to provide a well-rounded service provision to the care homes, its Registered Manager and the Service Users in their care.
Robert is a highly experienced and motivated Manager, who has been part of our business since July 2016. He has worked with the senior management team in this role, at different Homes that also cater for adults with Learning Disabilities, Mental ill heath, Dual Diagnosis and complex behaviours that may challenge.
He has now stepped into the role of District Manager for the South West, as well as being the Registered Manager of The Meadows Care Home at Instow. We are confident that his knowledge and experience will be positive influences.
During his varied career, Rob has also had extensive experience working for a national care provider, where he successfully managed a 29 bedded unit for adults with Learning Disabilities.
Rob Holds a level 5 in social care for Adults and Children and is one of our qualified BILD trained, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) coaches; We are confident that these skills and qualifications can only enhance the operation of Lyndale and the experiences of the Service Users.
Christina first joined Lyndale in 2015 in a dual role of Support Worker and Administrative Assistant. She took some time away for family commitments, returning in 2020 as a Support Worker. With hard work and dedication, Christina swiftly progressed into more senior positions, and became Trainee Manager in 2021. Working in this role and gaining experience she completed further training, including the Level 5 Diploma in Adult Care and Leadership, which she completed in 2023. In 2024 this lead to her appointment as Registered Manager of Lyndale.
In her time at Lyndale Christina has gained invaluable experience of supporting clients with complex mental health diagnosis’, autism, and learning disability. She is passionate about her work with service users and feels privileged to share, and positively contribute, to the recovery journey of so many individuals. Christina values high standards and ensures Lyndale’s ethos, to support individuals in a person-centred way to live fulfilled and enriched lives, is embedded at the heart of Lyndale’s daily mission to support those in our care.
Darren is Deputy Manager at Lyndale and has worked in health and social care since the age of 18. They have extensive experience across hospitals, nursing and residential homes, learning-disability services, assisted living, schools and mental-health care settings.
Having worked in several regions across the country, Darren has supported older people, adults with learning disabilities, individuals living with mental-health conditions, addiction, and children and young people with SEND and trauma-related needs, as well as working with those with brain damage and physical health needs. They have completed their Level 5 qualification, previously worked as an Autism Champion and are committed to person-centred, compassionate care.
Alongside their professional experience, Darren has volunteered extensively within the local community, including many years as a Scout leader and ongoing involvement in children’s work. Their understanding of care is also informed by personal experience, giving them valuable insight into the perspectives of families and the people receiving support.
